In September, she lost her father, Nick, just days before what would have been his 60th birthday. Remarkably, Toone returned to action for United just two weeks after her father’s passing, featuring in the team’s opening league fixture at Old Trafford against West Ham — a testament to her resilience and unwavering dedication.
