But after just six torrid months, the midfielder may be on his way out.

According to , Ajax are set to sign Henderson after he confirmed his desire to return to Europe in crunch talks with manager Steven Gerrard. The ex-Liverpool star is thought to have an eye on Gareth Southgate's England squad for Euro 2024, despite being continuously picked throughout his Saudi stint. Now, the Dutch giants are set to give him the platform with which to stake his claim to feature at the Germany tournament.
